A Problem Worth Solving

Every successful company begins with a problem worth solving. For Let Ship Africa Inc., that problem was discovered through personal experience.

In 2021, our founder and a family member planned to establish a Liberian restaurant in the United States. To support the business, they needed to ship authentic Liberian products — including red palm oil, dry fish, country rice, and other traditional foods — from Liberia. After spending weeks searching for a reliable shipping provider, they discovered that the individual previously recommended for these services had passed away, leaving a significant gap in the market.

That experience highlighted a broader reality: many Liberians, entrepreneurs, farmers, producers, and families faced similar challenges when trying to participate in international trade. Rather than accepting the situation, they chose to create a solution.

Because they did not initially have enough cargo to fill an entire shipping container, they developed a cargo consolidation model that allowed multiple customers to share container space — reducing shipping costs while giving small businesses and individuals access to professional international logistics services. From that simple beginning, Let Ship Africa Inc. was born. Today, the company continues to build systems, partnerships, and operational standards that support safe, compliant, and reliable trade between Liberia and the global marketplace.
